HELLO, I'M DUSTY MCLEAN.
I'm a technologist, entrepreneur, independent researcher, and the person who usually says, “I'll figure it out”—and then actually tries to.
I build websites and businesses, connect people and opportunities, and work on ambitious ideas in agriculture, education, and research. Some are established. Some are experiments. I'm not going to pretend they're all finished.
I grew up in Mississippi, and I'm still building here. My background is in IT systems, communications, websites, and solving problems when the instructions are missing.
I've worked in technology, online retail, branding, business operations, and independent research. I've started projects from scratch, worked directly with suppliers, taught myself unfamiliar systems, and learned that ambition isn't the same as a finished product.
My honest pitch? I'm resourceful, intensely curious, and not afraid of complicated work. I don't have every credential or connection yet. What I do have is the willingness to learn, do the legwork, and bring the right people together.

I believe access matters. Knowledge should be shareable. Smaller businesses deserve great technology. Big ideas deserve honest scrutiny, especially when science, money, or people's health is involved.
I'm not claiming to know everything. I ask questions, chase down primary sources, admit when something is unfinished, and look for people who know what I don't.
